Bull for Sale: BOF Country Club 924-$1900
You will have to look pretty hard to find a bull that has a pedigree stacked the way Country Club is. The sire of this bull is our herd bull Purple Cotton Club 33T ET (National Champion CRR D03 Cotton x National Champion LaGrand Reload). The dam was Champion Calf at the 2007 Ohio State Fair for the Jim Herman family. She goes back to the TOP MSU MS 15G 8619 Cow that is the foundation of the great Star Lake winners that Cassie Herman has been showing. She is out of Star Bright Future. Although the EPD’s are not currently displayed, they are: BW-4.5, WW-54, YW-87, MM-20, M&G-47 (Click here for the link to herfnet). This bull has been successfully shown throughout the summer and is now starting to fill out and develop into the bull I anticipated. Feel free to call or e-mail if you have questions.

Kilowatt is a yearling out of our Colyer donor cow. She has produced many winners for us and our customers. In 2007 her heifer calf, sold to Dean Adcock, was class winner at the Hereford Junior Nationals in Denver. Kilowatt takes that cow base and crossed with the best Devo bull we could find (NS Lakes Kilo 002) puts together a very eye appealling package as well as above average EPD’s. If you are looking for some electricity in your herd, you should check out BOF Kilowatt. I hope to post pictures soon.
LF 3H L36K Channing 510 (P42605018) ie. Buddy $1800

Buddy was shown at the state and national level three years ago by Bailey Edenburn. He is a Channing son out of one of Steve Lorenzen’s top cows. This cow family has produced numerous state champions in Illinois. I have put together a couple of video clips for the bulls and heifers. That is him in his working clothes. He has been in the pasture for 2 years with no additional creep. As you can see, right now he is running in corn stalks. They have access to hay and a protein tub. The only time they get corn is if I need to get them in. In the video, you can see how docile he is (I had a hard time getting him to walk). . I have never pulled a calf from this bull. All of his birth weights have been between 60 and 78 pounds. He is very easy on fences (ours are terrible) even with a pasture of steers and heifers to the south of us. I would like $1800 for him (I figure that is about market price)

BOF Vanity 512 713 (SOLD)
The yearling bull was born September 3, 2007 (The date on the video is incorrect). His mother was a class winner at the Illinois State Fair a few years ago. His maternal sister was sold a couple of years ago to a girl in Missouri who showed her all over the place. She was 2nd high in the point shows for two years in a row and Division Champion in both open and junior shows at the Missouri State fair. As with Buddy, this bull has a great disposition. I would like $1300 for him.

Hereford Heifers for Sale
Bred Heifers for Sale-SOLD
Two of the heifers were show heifers and the other was not. Both of the show heifers come from our best cows, the other heifer comes from our best “pet.” They are fall calves because we flushed the mothers in the spring and it set them back.
712 is out of a cow that is full sister to a National Champion. Her mother won her class at our state preview show and state fair. We have sold several calves out of her. Recently, an embryo that we sold to a family in California won her class in Reno national show as well as Reserve Champion at the Western regional show. She is Purple Reign breeding.
You can see her EPD info here: http://www.herfnet.com/online/cgi-bin/i4.dll?1=232B21&2=2420&3=56&5=2B3C2B3C3A&6=5A5D5C232327252523&9=5F5C51
713 is out of a cow that we also showed (from Idaho-Colyer Herefords). Her siblings have won classes at the Junior Nationals and division champion at our state preview show.
You can see her EPD info here: http://www.herfnet.com/online/cgi-bin/i4.dll?1=232B21&2=2420&3=56&5=2B3C2B3C3A&6=5A5D5C232327252522&9=5F5C51
714 is out of a cow that we bought from Randy Owens (from Alabama). She is extremely docile. This is the only heifer out of her that we didn’t show, mainly because we had the other two that were older.
You can see her EPD info here: http://www.herfnet.com/online/cgi-bin/i4.dll?1=232B21&2=2420&3=56&5=2B3C2B3C3A&6=5A5D5C232327252521&9=5F5C51
They are all registered and can be transferred. I would like $1000 for the heifers. I would imagine they are a little over 1000 pounds. They should each be bred for a summer calf.
